  • there was zero jaco tone and zero p bass tone o.O... why liken it to those two things when it's neither?

  • @mrguythefawkes to make you angry

  • Be sure to also check out the ZON Sonus Standard review to hear both Basslines SSB-4/5 pickups and STC-3 circuitry, which are stock features in all ZON Standard basses

  • are those jazz pickups stacked and thus humbucking? is that a set you buy (the jazz pickups)

  • Very nice reviews! In regards to the Ibanez 6-string, I own a higher-end model from around the same era (1996 SR-1206) and I hear a good deal of similarity to my stock bass, so I think the preamp is coloring the tone a fair amount. I also had a MIM Fender Jazz that I got "barely used" as a "Modding Bass" which got a set of Bassline "hot" SJ-2 Single Coils and would put them in the same range as my custom-wound Nordstrand Big Singles in several basses and Lindy Fralin & Aero Jazz pups!
