I think it's only logical. "Puritanic" attitudes mean repression, and anything you repress will eventually come back to the surface but in a much more extreme or even dangerous form. If you acknowledge sexuality as sg natural (which it IS), it will have its rightful place as a part of your life and there will be no need to talk about it all the time.

BTW, don't you find it ironic, that sex is so in focus, on forefront in America despite its puritanic attitudes and sexual repressivness while in France/Europe it is more matter-of -fact-of -life? Just sayng...
