  • I love your videos, they are always so informative and I agree with the person below, you do sound like James May, who I love! I hope you do more reviews for cameras and motorbikes, just got one and looking to start doing videos.

  • @gareth7o9 I'm hoping to get another bike sometime in 2012....so hopefully I'll be able to do more bike type stuff.

  • Anyone find the G-clamp he mentioned? I've looked everywhere...I've found on amazon UK, but they dont ship to the U.S... any help would be appreciated!

  • @tristantao Check eBay item number 110542755828

  • OMG you sound like James from top gear, are you James may?

  • @kny4eva Unfortunately not. I think if James May had to resort to making YouTube videos to earn a bit of pocket money...he'd probably go and shoot himself.

  • Brilliant idea. Thanks for posting. :)

  • Good job, I'm all about DIY on the cheap. However, I would like to point out that no Gopro cam is $500 US (at least as of now). On the most expensive on their website is $300 and the cheapest is $150 (with mounts). Still twice the cost of what you can make it for, but certainly not 6X the cost as described in the video.

  • This is great, I was sure I wanted a GoPro but the cost:result ratio of your setup is hard to ignore. Though, I'm guessing the keycam has abysmal low-light performance. Easier purchase to talk my girlfriend into, however! Thanks for the vid!

  • @thomasemperor what did that do to the performance of your bike? It kinda defeats the purpose of having a ram air intake I'd guess...

  • btw, was the actual footage off your motorcycle in thid vid taken with the 808#11, 720p?

I ask because the quality of the video is far inferior to your other vid. Or perhaps is the decrease in quality attributed to the shaking/wind?

  • very excellent tutorial!!!

  • Very clever idea! Never even thought about microphone kit trying to mount mine.

  • @Techmoan That about 35 bucks. I actually found one on Ebay in the U.S. that was on auction with a kick/tom mic.. didn't win, but bought this instead: search on amazon B0010CYHW4.

    way cheaper for U.S. customers.

Nevertheless, thanks for the reply and I have to say, great vid!
