  • Hello Alex, You are so right. Driving it is awesome.

If you can check out 5th Gear on the internet, on June 24th you will see it on the track with a very spiffy driver who puts it through its paces. Let me know what you think.

  • Allard has always been one of my favorite Marques....very cool to see they've "come back"! And being made in Canada, no less! What a great combination of old and new, good to see there's companies that still "get it" when it comes to the wants/needs of TRUE car guys. I love modern technology (except for the decline of REAL shifters) but true beauty and simplicity in design seems to be a dying art.

  • Allard was a big part of the post war movement that spawed the British roadster.

The X2J was awesome... I wish I had the money to own one, I would love to drive it on the open road, life would be soooooo sweet!

  • Drool. What a great looking/sounding car.

  • looks like a Caterham Super 7 with an obese problem

  • Yes, traction control is for people that want to race but can not drive.Ill take an old Z over a new one any day.

  • Thanks for posting the vid great car ^_^
