  • With respect, Dr Gabor deserves better than this. The author could not have picked a worse place to make this video. It's stressful to try to focus on the important things

    over the unbearably noisy background.

  • Hi Sparky,

I agree, it's true. It was a terrible lesson didnt know how bad the background noise was until I heard the tape back. If youd like, theres a link to the transcript of the interview in the summary above.

    Thanks, Susan

  • Nice job w/this. Do you have any more interviews w/him?

  • wow. horrid. nice fakup.

  • ring ring *Dr Gabor Mate, how can I help you?*

Hi Dr, I was wondering if you'd conduct an interview with me during a rock concert, preferable in the mosh pit, how's that sound?

  • Ooops, and now I noticed that it has even a second part to it! Cool.

  • As much as I agree about the overall quality of the audio of this interview being bad, I must say it's a great short interview that I have enjoyed very much. Especially where Maté talks a little bit about his childhood and how he had to cope with the consequences, by reading, studying and looking at the world and himself.

    Thank you, Susan.

  • @Susan8502

Thanks for the tip about the transcript, Susan. We've all made similar mistakes so I'm in no position to criticize. Better luck next time.
