@GambleAgainstReality your way may not be the only possible way to believe. Just as you are entitled to your beliefs, Muslims are too. If you read excerpts from the Quran, you would learn that so many of their beliefs are much of what we believe. You may not agree, but what gives a man the right to say another man's beliefs are wrong..especially when it concerns their ideas about god? Anyways, Muslims and Christians believe in the SAME god - Allah is simply the word for god in Arabic.

@Paulwhoisvegan time doesn't matter. one could go into a room with a murderer holding a bloody knife over a body, and the murderer says, "that was over four minutes ago, it was in the past." Time doesn't matter, we must never forget what was done, also, many people are still alive from that horror.

Islamic followers who claim the Profit Muhamud accended into heaven from Jerusilum need to open their eyes to the true Word of God. Islam confess' Jesus as a Holy Profit but deny Him as Christ. This makes no sence since He claimed to be the Son of God and the light unto the world. If they dont accept Him as Lord and Saviour then He must be a false teacher, but they deny that. They have it right in the fact that they make no images for themselves, a practice that can go a long way for Christians.

To summarize: I simply cannot stand people who make bold remarks while being absolutely ignorant the subject they remark on, especially in politics. It's dangerous and divisive and I believe is the root of MANY problems.
Educate yourself first, at least in the BASICS, before commenting on decisions made by people who have far more education and experience in the field.
Prepare your arguments (highlighting WHY something is wrong rather than just asserting) and provide alternatives!

Your assumption that making concessions about whom you shake hands with to deal with larger threats shows your minimal understanding about the need for pragmatism in the complex modern world.
Are you that arrogant to believe that America should and CAN isolate itself in an ever globalizing world?
Every leader in the world is spending HUGE amounts of money on stimulus packages to kick start their economies, have you got a better plan? I'd love to hear it.
