Well, if it makes you feel any better, word has it that the world is thinking a new world leader has emerged in Isreal's Benjamin Netanayeu ,since his commanding eloquence at the UN. This will be the first time in History that it is not the Pres of The USA. I did watch that speech, and have to say her was compelling and convincing...and we were quite awed by him...we just didnt realize it was impressing so many around the world.

It tells so much that he is bearly aware of any of the others....just ALL ABOUT HIMSELF...I find it sickening.

And I guess someone from Australia is an expert on American politics? I know enough about economics to know that Obama is overspending and driving us into huge deficits and debt. I know enough about the global energy crisis to know we have enough resources here in the United States to take care of ourselves if the dumb asshole environmentalists weren't suing the govt every other day. And so far the only allies that Obama has forged is by bowing to a muslim king, and shaking hands with Chavez.

Where I'm located has very little to do with it. I keep up with American politics and news because I know that as an economic, diplomatic and military powerhouse, everything that occurs within America is affecting the rest of the world in profound ways.

Your assumption that America has enough resources to take care of itself shows your very limited understanding of global economics.

Your assumption that making concessions about whom you shake hands with to deal with larger threats shows your minimal understanding about the need for pragmatism in the complex modern world.

Are you that arrogant to believe that America should and CAN isolate itself in an ever globalizing world?

Every leader in the world is spending HUGE amounts of money on stimulus packages to kick start their economies, have you got a better plan? I'd love to hear it.

To summarize: I simply cannot stand people who make bold remarks while being absolutely ignorant the subject they remark on, especially in politics. It's dangerous and divisive and I believe is the root of MANY problems.

Educate yourself first, at least in the BASICS, before commenting on decisions made by people who have far more education and experience in the field.

Prepare your arguments (highlighting WHY something is wrong rather than just asserting) and provide alternatives!

An Australian giving advice on American politics. Quite funny! And I am educated. I live it every day!
