On 1st December 2009, Dr Chris Steele MBE of ITV's This Morning and Jayne Crocker of LDN Now handed in a 13,000 signature petition to Number 10 Downing Street requesting the NHS to fund trials for the unlicensed drug Low Dose Naltrexone. That same day 3 members of LDN Now presented a petition to The Scottish Parliament Public Petitions Committee, calling for universal availability of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) on the NHS in Scotland.

LDN Now is a patient and friend led organisation (so not a charity) with no funding and no affiliation to any company or organisation, but rather a group of concerned individuals focussed on improving the health of those who
suffer from the many diseases and conditions that Low Dose Naltrexone treats.

  • The efforts to get governments to recognise that when patients take a lead and when research is required, then there is no greater justification for funding the required trials. We are the end users of the entire process and in the internet age, we are also well informed. so time to augment current research routes with paient demand - LDN Now!
