  • STUCK ON REPEAT! so awesome! did you program the bass(lead) yourself? what program did you tweak from? Also how did you know what key this song is in? thanks! Just got one micron for myself and been wanting to cover this song.

  • @karmicexplosion hi, yes this is little boots :-) If I recall, I used a patch called 'Jupiter8' or something around those lines. Probably a tribute to the famous synthesizer from Roland during the 1970s - 1980s. I figured out the key and notes by ear just by closely listening to the track and perfecting it on the keyboard. Glad you liked it and sorry for the slow reply, free time is rare at the moment.

    Kind Regards

    George

  • @kingofkeyboards Gurreat! Thanks for the reply :D

  • can you sequenced a sint/ pad ?? you can save your performance as a loop..and in different track ? ( for example 1 part drum loop , 2 part bass loop , 3 part sin/ pad loop)

    tanks.

  • @sp4zzer hi, your message will be replied to fully shortly. Time has taken over at the moment so youtube has been out of the question. sorry for the late response. thank you for your patience.

  • Hi again. Sorry to disturb you further about this, but You have been very helpful and freiendly so far, for which I'm grateful. Just let me see if I've gotten this correctly. You can create patterns of up to four bars, and then combine patterns with the sequenzer? So that you can make much longer sequenzes? In the case of the earlier mentioned examble, the entire bass line consist of 4x4 patterns wit a total of 16x4 64 notes before repeating. This would be within the capabilities of the micron?

  • @sp4zzer okay glad I could help. Any more questions please don't hesitate to drop me a line. George

  • @kingofkeyboards only the bass line is interesing, it was just an example. Thanks a lot.

  • @sp4zzer well the left hand bassline he's playing would be no problem however the solo right hand he plays may not be able to programmed to it's full extent as it's just too long as a sequencer is only designed to loop smaller riffs. If you managed to find someone available to play this over the top then bob's your uncle.

    George ;-)

  • @kingofkeyboards Awesome. Thanks. I think it would work just perfectly for our need. What i need is something to play basslines like the one in this vid watch?v=6tLY_E1-8RM (not my vid) bu it self more or less (band has no keyboard players or programmers) and I'd like to make some set ups for them that they could easily bring with them, but to an affordable price, which the Micron qualifies as :)
