Riga (em letão: Rīga) é a capital da Letónia e a maior cidade dos países Bálticos. É um porto no Mar Báltico, junto ao rio Daugava.
Para fins administrativos, Riga é uma cidade independente e está localizada na região de Riga.
O centro histórico de Riga foi declarado Patrimônio da Humanidade pela UNESCO, e a cidade é particularmente notável por sua arquitetura Art Nouveau (Jugendstil), comparável em importância a Viena, São Petersburgo e Barcelona

Riga (in Latvian: Rīga) is the capital of Latvia and the largest city of the Baltic countries. It is a port in the Baltic Sea, near the river Daugava.
For administrative purposes, Riga is an independent city and is located in the region of Riga.
