I look at these fantastic houses and at first I feel so jealous, but then I realize that I am one of the luckiest people on this Earth because a) I live in a comfortable home and not in a box under a bridge and b) I don't have to work my butt off almost 24/7 to make six or seven figures to be able to afford a house like that! I hope everyone else here feels as lucky and blessed as I do, because I know that while I envy people in mansions, those without homes at all envy me...

@LordOftheMind I think not because how can one maintain the cost in living in these homes? I respect those who grind, toil to get a place that they long desired. I'm pushing to be one of those old monies.

These homes feel so depersonalized. It is not jealousy since i have rich cousins, they also have a mansion, however they always sit in a little room, and the furniture is brand new even though they have been living there for 7 years! You cannot use all the rooms no matter how many of you there are. If I personally had this money, i would rather buy an apartment in Miami or NY instead. At least they feel more personal.
