One of the worst disasters of our generation.

Burma (Myanmar) was a crown British Colony. It did well for nearly 200 years and Rangoon was a thriving city. They decided to be a republic and declare complete independence from the UK. You get what you deserve. I would only help them if they decided to be a Dominion again

As a survivor of this horror, it took me a year before i could watch footage of this. Looking at photos was hard enough, i'd get flashbacks of it. And what goes on in the message board? Bickering about Islam, 9/11, conspriacy, Communist China blah blah. Hello, a HUGE natural disaster occurred killing nearly 150000 (nearly 6 times more than 9/11) and all some ppl do is argue?! WAKE UP YOU MORONS!!!
PS to anyone who tried to set those idiots straight and/or expressed sorrow, u have me sincere tx.

It should be perfectly alright for Myanmar citizens to torture and/or murder Myanmar military-political leaders. They should be exposed to the most painful methods of torture including amputation, rape and burning alive. They're incompetence in taking care of their own people should be rewarded with the most violent action possible.

Though no government that I know of intercedes without its' own interests, would you agree that $2.16 billion "last year" is a drop in the oil barrel? We helped in Chernobyl, no oil there. We are giving aid to China. Maybe we plan to put troops in the Wolong Giant Panda Reserve?

US is largest Donar in teh world. The indonesian tidal wave in December 2005, US gave in excess of $1Billion, not by th government (that gave $25 million) but charities the American people set up for it. Buffoon.
