A frenzy of vulture activity confuses the pride as they search expectantly for a carcass to scavenge. Later, the lions head towards a baobab tree after a restful night.

A monitor lizard wanders into the pride's territory and is eyed cautiously by the cubs.

  • Excellent material, specially the knowledgeable comments of the ranger. It is truly like being there!

  • Exquisite footage of majestic creatures simply lazing around. After several reviews, I think the formerly injured male cub was the one who walked across the 3 lazing ones & hudging his way toward the big lizard. The cubs look a picture of health, thanks to their incredible moms & aunts. It's endearing to see them playing with their dad, for, soon, the male cubs will have to make their own ways in the world, which is crowder & smaller than what their parents were used to know, alas!

  • It's good to see that the cubs were all smooth, healthy looking. Most are almost as big as their mothers & aunts. I tried to look for the bigger male cub which got a nasty injury to his left upper chest, just below the arm, 2 episodes ago but healed into just a small black patch last episode, the cub who spent a minute trying to identify his pride, before running to greet it... He had the longest amateur male scruff on him, & would be a beautiful, flowing mane when fully grown in 4-5 years...

  • Not too much to see this time. Repost of the monitor lizard?

  • nice footage

  • Wonderful.

    An exellent film
