Hubble Success Chronicled By IMAX in 3-D

The final space shuttle mission to repair and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope is the subject of a new IMAX film. Narrated by Leonardo Di Caprio, "Hubble 3-D" was premiered during a special event held at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington. The movie features the NASA astronauts from STS-125 who serviced Hubble in May 2009; an IMAX 3D camera mounted in space shuttle Atlantis' payload bay filmed their progress.

"The identity of quasars"? What does that mean? Didn't it prove relativity by taking pictures of gravity lenses also? Hubble FTW. Send more probes to take pictures. I want 24 hour coverage of the planets, like Soho and Stereo provide for the sun. Super cool.

Can't wait to see it. This was the mission that was cancelled until the public spoke up & made it happen. Let's make it happen with a push to keep the Constellation Program alive so we can all see Americans on Mars in our lifetime.
