www.oconnorgreentoursnyc.com takes you on tour by bike, pedicab (rickshaw) and New York's wealth of trains.

This Greenwich Village street once had another name. Can you figure it out, based on the song title and the name of the theater shown here?

My Greenwich Village pedicab tour shows this and dozens of other historical and cultural tidbits to you and a guest, sitting in my rickshaw for an hour or so. stanoconnor (at) gmail (dot) com.

  • iamyournot,

Thanks for your post on the street fair there. I used to do the Bedford-Barrow-Commerce Street fair in the early 90s.

I wish I could take the pedicab to your street fair, but May 17 I'm scheduled to volunteer with it at the NYPD Museum's Bike Safety Day, down on Old Slip.

However if someone in Manhattan wants to include free pedicab rides and free bike repair at their street fair, please contact me. Several volunteers are ready to help.

  • that interior corner takes my breath away. thank you so much for this!

  • Have you figured out the original name of the street yet, based on the song?

  • There are very very few interior corners in Manhattan. Coincidentally, I get my hair cut at one of the few others.
