to do something like that you really need to take it apart. that way you can get inside the battery compartment and you don't have to worry about the screen or taping anything off.
the thing is i did take it apart lol. i couldnt take out the part that protects the screen and i didnt want to put too much force on it cus i didnt want to break it. and i didnt paint the battery part cus i didnt want to0 paint the silver part that connects the battery. so ya lol. i think ill do a ps1 next
