  • Hurry up and get to the factory on time, work hard, America needs more cheap goods to buy while we still can.

  • imagine if they were all driving cars, how much more space it would require. At one point i counted more than 15 motorcyclists highly packed in a 5 meter range from the camera. That much people, if driving cars, would take three lanes, about 10 meters long each... Not to mention the huge difference in the amount of CO2 expelled to the atmosphere ( and gasoline that's being burnt )

  • Vehicle of choice guys enjoy the ride !

  • this 3/2 street near where i live Cao Thang

  • still 10x better than Hanoi, at least the cars and motorbikes still go in their lanes

  • The number one (only in fact) rule is that you must not hit anything in front of you. I used to live there, its amazing how quickly you get used to riding there and also how safe it feels. This video makes me feel a little homesick!!!

  • At least you wouldnt sleep at the wheel (or bars)

  • A graphic reminder of what makes the Vietnamese such competitive people.

  • Cars could self-regulate flow if they could:

    (1) Constantly see where everyone is intending to go (bikes are thin and tall, so they point constantly where the driver intends to go)

    (2) Go very slow at intersections to allow other cars to pass

    (3) Give plenty of room for other slow moving cars to pass

    (4) Have wide road ratios to vehicle width to allow loosely-spaced clumps to disperse without colliding or increasing clog density

Right now, the sparse cars & buses act like moving walls of intent

  • Interesting. The traffic flow is self-regulating in that people are moving like blood cells in pulse bursts. Once the front traffic clots, the cells behind loosely fill in the gap until it unclogs. The motorcycles act like "directional flow monitors" pointing the unspoken consensus of the clumps for the cars. Without the constant flow of motorcycles, the cars would lack direction and clump in irregular blocks.

(Seen the video from a sky-eye view too).
