That is the real response, SC boost is RPM related. When you mash the throttle and see 8800 rpm you see full boost, its that quick.

yeah supercharger is basically instant, a regular turbo waits for the exhaust to start going fast enough for it to give it what it needs to create the presure

How much does it cost to put boost on a phazer?

@jondavids420 well even then with a regular turbo, unless your riding it, it wont build the boost, because the engine isnt straining, not too sure on it all but i know if you put a dirtbike on a stand and give it gas it dont put out as much exhaust, you ride it it puts out well over 4x more exhaust usually......

@ultokill two strokes generally make around double the horse power a four stroke will, i figure yamaha is doing pretty well power-wise

snowbell a turbo doest create boost by rpms its created by exhaust pressure and heat

dont get me wrong, yamaha makes great sleds, but the need to be turbo'd before they make enought power to talk, befor you reply to this comment take time to look at the factory specs, the stock 1000cc 3 cylender nytro only makes enought horsepower as a summit 600, M6, etc... even the 1000cc Apex makes 150hp stock, while the new summit 800s make 165, great sled just need to put out alot of cash to compare

What kind of gauge mount is that? I just supercharged my Nytro XTX and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the gauge layout...your set-up looks pretty sharp
