This is a updated version of another video I have of the TRS-80 model 100 computer. This was requested by a viewer because of bad quality. So I will be redoing alot of my videos for better quality. And Im sorry I didnt make any in a while. I was busy with marching band which is really fun.
So I should be doing a video of my commodore 64 and ti 99/4a soon so expect those.

  • Great vid this is marceloyanez111 but my account got banned for unknown reasons so idk wtf. I have the same problem with the glass of my trs 80 pocket computer but i cant seem to find one. btw how do you go to the other line while in pro mode on the trs 80 pocket computer

  • durn thats not good

oh lord I haven't touched that thing in a while but will have to soon

umm I think your talking about trying to get to another line while reviewing the typed program there should be 2 keys to the left of the off/on buttons that looks like a line with an arrow pointing down and an arrow pointing up.

  • Just an hour or two ago I decided to take apart the screen piece and spray it with contact spray( Max proffessional Electronics Lubricant)

this did help it to come back a little bit

just enough for me to be happy

  • I miss my old Model 100...

If I could get one with a faster refresh LCD... it'd probably be my main computer to mess with.

  • Stop touching that screen with your greasy fingers, this is history you're touching. Maybe that's why mine, originally bought when it was released, looks like mint, I even own the floppy drive for this machine.

  • These computers still can do alot... You can upload files to a pc using the rs232 port and telcom. They are rugged, and go for about twenty hours on a set of double a batteries. A keyboard that is better then most laptops and better then many desktops. Go to club100.org for more info. Yes these machines are still supported, belive it or not!

  • I've got 1 of these too. It can't do too much, but I think it's great fun to play with old technology as I think I've learned much more about current tech through getting to know some of the old stuff. The model 100 sure makes the iPod touch I'm typing this on look absolutely out of this world though!

  • I have one of thems. Sitting right beside me. Right now.

  • Graph is to send graphic characters to the screen, the code is to send symbols. This is a computer that actually has a Y2K error. The Phone is an internal 300 baud modem. The disc drive was optional and expensive. The two swicthes are to switch between the internal modem or the acoustic coupler modem that was available. Also, to switch between answer and originate for for the modem.
