Mini talk by Abdullah Wagi, former Malay muslim school Headmaster & Current Capetown Mosque Caretaker, descendants from the Malay Archipelago Shaykh Yusuf from Bugis/Makassar,Indonesia & followers along with slaves from various South East Asian regions.

Shaykh Yusuf was exiled by the Dutch to curb the influence of freedom efforts by the locals against Dutch. A blessing in disguise, the exile lead to the beginning seed of Islam in Capetown until now.
