  • The accompanist is an undergraduate student and was basically sight reading this piece because our accompanist we had rehearsed with bailed on us soon before our concert. This is a student-led group and brand new at that, so we could not afford to pay someone to do it. She actually did a wonderful job considering the circumstances.

  • If your going to play to PLAY THE PIANO SHOW SOME LOVE. WHERE THE HECK WAS CREShENDOS?

  • The video and audio quality is very bad, it does not accurately represent what the concert actually sounded like. There are plenty of crescendos, no "CREShENDOS" though.

  • That bass. Oh lawd. <3

  • i love this song. it was my favorite song my high school choir ever sang. the melody is so beautifully haunting. i got chills every time we sang it, and still do when i hear it even now. great job!

  • I'm here, and there were plenty in the song as well.... For the size of the group i think you guys did an excellent job but the one thing that gets me that you needed more K in the awake section... I don't know how many times I've been told this while practicing this song, and it wasn't until i heard it done by another group that i realized how important the percussive K is.

  • i like that part too!! i need to record us singing this. its 100 of us in our choir. 2 words. 19 basses. mojo gorgeousness!! lOlz

  • We're singing that version in my high school choir, too. My favorite part is when the sopranos sing "Soli deo, gloria!" and everyone else is going "Awake, awake!" x3 It's a beautiful piece.

  • but in the music it says you can take it as you want it. so it really doesn't make a difference

  • I performed this song in High School choir. Your rendition is beautiful!
