How to Install and Use Activator for iPod Touch and iPhone

This video shows how to install Activator on your iPod Touch or iPhone. Activator is a program that allows you to assign certain actions to take place when a button is pressed or when a specific gesture is preformed. You can also program menus to pop up with an action. To do this, go into Settings, scroll down to Activator, tap it, scroll down to "Menu", tap it, select "New Menu", and add your actions. To install Activator, just search "Activator" in Cydia and install. That's it!



To Jailbreak Any iPod Touch or iPhone:

Go to www.jailbreakme.com inside Safari on your iPod Touch or iPhone and follow the on-screen instructions. DO NOT EXIT SAFARI UNTIL THE JAILBREAK IS DONE!!! May take 5-10 minutes.

Note: The only difference to your iDevice after the jailbreak is a new icon on your home screen named "Cydia".

You should also have Winterboard installed. If not, you will have to install it manually from Cydia.


iPod Touch 4th Generation on iOS 4.2.1:

Go to http://greenpois0n.com/ on your home computer. Once you are onto the site, select the your computer type (Mac, Lunix, or Windows). This will begin to download the greenpois0n program. Meanwhile, plug your iPod Touch into your computer with the USB charging cable. After the program is done downloading and installing, open it and follow the on-screen instructions. The jailbreak may take several minutes to complete.

Once your iPod Touch is finished jailbreaking (YAY!!!) unlock it and enter the application called "Loader" on your iPod Touch. Select "Cydia" and install. Now you are jailbroken with GREENPOIS0N!!!

You should also have Winterboard installed. If not, you will have to install it manually from Cydia.

Hi, im sorry to bother but im wondering why doesnt the activater show up in my ipod settings like in did in yours, i installed activator through cydia and instead of being in my ipod settings its where all my apps are. HELP please my home button is broken ! THANK YOU(:
