Today my son is trying out his new bow that we made out of PVC pipe and other stuff we found in the garage. This is a great father and son bonding experience with a huge payoff. The arrows were bought out our local sporting goods store. First off, he learned how to build and now he learning to shoot. He really likes it and appreciates it also. Sch 80 PVC riser 3' length, duct tape and 4 strands of twisted 50lb test fishing line. The batting glove was a lot easier on the hands. Taped on an allen wrench to provide arrow rest. Little bit of black tape for arrow to seat into on the draw string and works like a champ. Time for Dad to build one for himself. See my blog for more ideas

Nice shooting. I priced some bows this weekend and the cheap ones were much more than i expected. Think my son would enjoy this one and he could even help me build it. Could I get more details on the parts on how you built it?
