  • God's not real, sex is okay

  • Yes, you're almost right. But he wants us to do it on the right terms. Adultery is not on the right terms. Sex before marriage is not the right terms.

  • Abstinence is just plain dumb. God made men with those feelings to reproduce. So he doesn't want us to wait, he want's us to make more of his children.

  • "The western idea of human rights is selfish and individualistic"

Individualism and through that freedom of personal choice are my highest values. Who or what is to say what I can and cannot do with myself. What mental power do they possess that I do not and why didn't I get the memo on this.

  • Human rights don't exist. But the values behind the idea are great ones, that I'd like to see realised. But they are not enough, we also need responsibility. I respect non-interference but we have no duty to it. I think this "Asian values" idea is a thin excuse by elites to defend oppression of ordinary people. And if Asians are not duty bound by Western 'human rights', why are Westerners by 'non-interference'?

Great video BTW. Now read "The Clash of Civilizations" by Samuel Huntington.

  • Asian values > Western liberal democracy. I have experienced both and this is my opinion.

  • FYI, i think the video was pro-human rights :) cheers

  • nonsensical.lol.

  • I agree with you that human rights is definitely important and necessary. However, the film sets out to present 2 sides of the debate. And i think it is great that by watching this, you know which side you want to be on. :)

  • Well, I agree about non-intervention in other countries, and having respect for how a country choses to run things, however I dissagree about what you said about human rights, they are needed to protect the people from their government especialy in nations where people are being put to death and tortured for speeking out about the problems in their nation.
