my daughter was abducted when she was 8 mos old. I listen to this song and think of her and hope she's happy out there somewhere. The diff is I don't get to see her grow up in pictures but I have her baby pictures.

I miss my mommy =( wish she would have stuck around!!!!!!! ='( 16 years old and only have seen her like 10 times in my whole life. She left my dad when I was like 11 months old.

i kno how it is for a young child to go through not havin one of your parents their for u..my dad left when i was 3 n my sis was 1 and i have only seen him 2 times in the 21 yrs of my life...its hard when ur in school and you have daddy daughter dances or u want ur dad to help u with somethin or ask a question..i dont understand why people that have children choose other things over their own flesh n blood?...

@mnmotes79 It's okay, I kind of understand how you feel. My father abandoned me, I am 13, My mom hardly can take care of me and my sisters. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder/ Manic Depression. I am usually really depressed. I am brutally picked on in school, and my mom can't do anything, and my father wasn't there through any of it. He picked drugs and jail over his seven daughters. (Me, and six others, all with different moms, i have two other sisters by my mom, but by different dads)

I was forced to surrender my rights yesterday. I have 2 children. I've fought both of their fathers x 4 years. They finally won. I was diagnosed with spinal cancer 2 years ago. It's sad that our judicial system considers a mom to be one that is healthy and with a job. I wished there was someone out there that could do something. I pray my son understands, and that he comes back when he can. He's only 9 1/2. Mommy Loves You Ethan! I'll always carry you as I once did, directly under my heart...

to wendy I'm sure your dad would like to make contact sometimes its hard as a child to understand the emotion that parents go thru on seperation whether it involved alot of violence or was mutual the emotional turmoil parents go thru is not seen by a child as we do try to hide what we feel infront of children as they generally see someone who is strong not someone weak .I have not had contact with my daughter since 14 she will be 24 next birthday and not a day goes by I dont think of her ..

My First wife and I split before my son was 1 year old as hard as I worked to keep it together. He lived with her until he was 19. Came to live with me in Aug and on Oct 28 he was killed by a drunk driver . My world fell apart. I will never forget the feeling of Love and Completeness I had when He moved in with me.
