Damn your tone is amazing. Wish I could get that kind of tone with my covers but my amp is shit. Does your Boss GEB-7 play a big part with your tone or is it mainly your amp? Also what kind of strings do you use?

Thank you, I spend a long time everytime I make a cover to get a good tone. I use Ernie Ball Power Strings & strum real hard haha. For this one, I think the 3-way switch on the bass made the biggest difference. Its in the single coil position, meaning im only using the coil closest to the neck. I get brighter and muddier tone in that position. On my GEB-7, I boosted the highs a little bit and cut the mids. The EBS pedal & the amps tube preamp add warmth, and the BBE maxcom makes the tone clear.

@wudumindif Hmm I'll have to try out those power strings sometime. Ohh alright so it's mainly your musicman giving you that tone. Damn I need to get my hands on a musicman one day lol. Hmm yeah I think the problem with my tone is most likely my shitty amp simulator. I also noticed you set up your account for monetization. When you set up your account for monetization did they take down any of your videos because of copyright issues?

for everyone wondering about his tone. that high mid sound is the ceramic pickups in the musicman sterling. as far as how to play like that is pure skill :)
