flying at crossedge group 2nd cut

a flight at the kreuzeckgruppe (crossedge group) in austria.
it was a great day .
the cloudbase was 3250 m high.
in the afternoon in the west and east of the crossedge group
thunderstorms seams to be developing.
i decided to go down over the valey.
but over the valey i only found climbing air.
it was impossible for me to get a higher sinkrate than 1 m /sec.
so i throw out my douge chute and than i get sinkrates
about 4 m/sec.
before landing i released the chute. it was faling down 50 meters beside the landing zone. thanks to Bernd who shows me where it was falling down.
after landing in the evening we all knew it better.
all overdevelopements collapsed.
allot of pilots who came down togeather with me
were talking about the same experiences with the strong climbing air
over the valey.
better one times fear than forever death.......
