Informations from the website (for foreign youtubers)
Our Spirits Don't Speak English: Indian Boarding School" is a Native American perspective on Indian Boarding Schools. This DVD produced by Rich-Heape Films, Inc. uncovers the dark history of U.S. Government policy which took Indian children from their homes, forced them into boarding schools and enacted a policy of educating them in the ways of Western Society. This DVD gives a voice to the countless Indian children forced through a system designed to strip them of their Native American culture, heritage and traditions.

  • All minorities in all the world are treated harshly, because of their differences...this is a shame for humanity. We can see what happened and is still happening in China, in Turkey, Maghreb, Africa etc... The majority always try to change the minority 's culture, langage, rights etc., they just force them to incorporate people in a cruel way..I'm so sorry for this beautiful person.

  • I agree this is heart breaking, anyone who didn't/dosen't conform to the "establishment" where/will be treated this badly and worse, this will always be the case.

  • I must say the disrespect for an ELDER is so uncalled for. I know Andrew and he was sharing his life not yours. He is a good man with honor for his people held fast in his heart. Most of you do not even know what Indian people have done to survive and keep who they are...whites came here to escape control and found freedom, but power and greed were what they wanted. He speaks the truth so listen with and open heart, and here what he has to say. I Respect and love you !!! Chi Miigwetch !!!!

  • @Lokacantouchmchammer oh gawd don't encourage their victimhood . please remember indians were a warring violent people the warried, slaughtered, murdered, raped and enslaved their enemies . they lived by war and they met their end by war . now instead of doing something positive, men like this fool roll around in their victimhood like a stray dog does shit . the embrace alcoholism, drugs, domestic violence incest at a rate far higher than the general population of the U.S.
