Use the D first, then you can try the E30-7 if all goes well. 30 newtons is a lot of thrust, be careful if you use them. You're going towant ALOT of room for that.

Today I launched my Eliminator Rocket for my class at school as a part of my project. We used D engines and it worke wonderfully, but it almost went into the trees! It was so scary, but fortunatly it didn't go in them. It landed safely and unharmed! Yeah! Nice launches! I wanna use some E engines the next time I have the chance to do so!

I'm getting an Oracle rocket (by estes and has been discontinued. I'm just buying what a store had left) and it recommends a D12-7 or an E30-7. Which do you guys recommend?

i have the same rocket but i am going to use the E9-6 motors. how long did it take for it to come back down?

Well my chute ripped on the first launch so it came down fast but had no damage but it landed in dirt so that helped. I did use E9-6 motors that is a typo. i sugest to go in a large open area because it goes a lot higher that u expect. make sure there is not alot of wind and if u have a streamer i sugest to use that because if the parachute actually would have worked i would have lost is. if you are going to use a parachute make sure to have alot of room and make sure there is no wind.
