Crossing Kingston Bridge away from the town to turn right immediately after the next roundabout; my usual approach in RH lane then signalling left when I'm on the roundabout. That's because I know the area. Question: should correct (IAM) style be to cross the bridge in LH lane then signal right as you pass the roundabout?

  • I think you should take the LH lane then move across into the right hand lane once you've exited to the roundabout.

  • Arrow on ground means "turn right" not drive straight as you did

  • Even though you were in the wrong a ground marking is not sufficient as it may be hidden by vehicle in front, or a blinding sun, or just not maintained. So you were forced into the wrong

  • Thanks for that!!

  • you're suppossed to stick to the left lane which shows arrow straight and then emerge onto the right lane immediately after exiting the roundabout. LMAO

  • hahaha..i do not feel like going to kingston anymore:)

  • Perhaps the road markings are wrong, the right lane could be for left and right as there's no exit ahead...

  • Wrong lane buddy.
