Hey man, how do you like the evans hydraulic as a 16" kick batter?? I'm converting a 16x16 Yamaha Birch floor tom to a kick, and I'm in a dilemma when it comes to considering heads for it...

seriously, I think my mind exploded from the set up of this, the mix mash of drum types, drum heads, and cymbals...I don't think I could think of a way to get you farther away from a solidified set of drums if I tried

i like the hydraulic,
a clear pinstripe may be even better though, i think pinstripe has a deeper sound

@BaNaNa3650
the dynamics i played with in this video (the force I exerted on the drums and cymbals) was purposeful so that I wouldn't overpower the quiet danzig era recording. I am even using vater jazz splashsticks instead of regular drumsticks to fit the mix better. And.... if you've ever hit a 20 inch a custom before, then you would know that they can drown out whatever music you are playing with. Lastly, the final cymbal hit of the 16 inch a custom projection crash was full force.
