I just purchased this pedal a few days ago... and I WAS JUST AMAZED how it gave fullness and fatness to my sound. I use this with my Fender American Strat last to my chain, before amp and after all my effects. Before this, I was using an MXR Micro Amp but not quite satisfied with the sound when it boosts my signal, it feels that it is lacking something. I also used a DANO Transparent OD v1 for a couple of months but it add MIDS. THis pedal really DOES SOUND VERY GOOD! Highly RECOMMENDED!!!!

@mindflashbr Trust me. This bad ass kicks every pedal you've mentioned.

I wish there was a comparison video between the True Tone, EHX LPB-1 and MXR Micro Amp (or any other booster/volume pedal),
-
@RosaRose168 it depends on a few things. one, if you're running it in a tube amp. and two, if you're running it in the loop or in front. if you're running it in the loop, you won't have any problems. but you will get some breakup in front...but that's any boost pedal. this one's probably the most transparent one i've ever had when it comes to that.
-
Will this pedal eventually break up if the volume knob is maxed out?
-
@pings15pings It's designed to just boost the volume while adding slight tone coloration depending on the knob (more bass, more treble, etc). However, if you have a non-master volume head which distorts the more you increase the volume (like the old Marshall plexis) using this to periodically increase the volume should help you reach that tone without blowing out a few eardrums in the process.

if placed in front or before an overdriven amp, will it boost the volume or just the gain?..
Hey guys check out my demo I did of this unit for thetoneking on his channel if you want more ideas on how this thing can be used!

Will it (or any other V2 pedals) buffer enough when turned off for me to use a low impedance volume pedal without treble loss? Thanks for posting it!

Yes, the Pure Tone buffer is in all the Visual Sound pedals and is active even when the pedal is bypassed.

So I could put this in the front of my pedal board, and it would act as a buffer to improve my tone from long cables and true bypass pedals? In one of these videos VS showed that even a 20ft George L cable showed dramatic loss. Guitar > 30ft cable > effects > amp. I have about 60ft of cable in my rig, will a good buffer after my guitar cable fix any signal loss?

Even if one of the Visual Sound pedals is first on your pedalboard, it will help the whole signal chain.
