May I ask what route you took to get out of the Khibiny valley or did you go back the same way you rode in? I'm considering riding my BMW f 800 gs there next summer but can't really find any "road" or proper trail in the north of the valley.

Unfortunatelly we had to go back to M-18 through Kirovsk and Apatity. I bet there is a trail going north somewhere there, but with when we tried to find it it was quite a lot of water&mud and we didn't made it through with our heavy bikes. I'd love to ride there on some lightweight bike! Good luck, and let me know how you made it in the end.
