Just because we haven't made life yet doesn't mean we should automatically assume "goddidit". Also, a theory in the scientific sense is far different from the normal sense. A scientific theory (evolution, heliocentrism, germ theory, atomic theory) is a collected group of facts used to explain an observed phenomenon.

Also, the video was probably made a couple of years ago.

Until there was evidence for a beginning of the universe, it was crazy. A christian could have wrote extensively on DNA, relativity, and global warming but no one would have believed him unless he provided evidence (and quoting bible verses is far from it).

@leonicc funny you should mention Black body, i and my friends at the university have been playing with the idea of making a material to defeat laser radiation used by police to catch speeders we think we found the perfect solution, all we must do now is to find some money to do the experiment. we are not to enthused to let the university have our idea so private money will be used.

basic theory is phase cancellation with refractions and absorption of energy.

Similarly, quantum theory was initially developed to explain (the fact of) black body radiation. Facts are observable phenomena whereas theories attempt to explain the facts.
