Nikki did both coke and heroin. The point of him refering to the heroin as "her" is that the drug had more of a hold on him than any female could at the time, IT was the love of his life. Golden eyes referes to the color of the drug. Addiction is harder to walk away from than any broken heart, more physical than any other relationship, a true love/hate relationship that noone around you can stop. You have to be the one to decied to walk away. Any ex-addict knows, it is a form of a relationship.

I am 14 years old. I first heard the Heroine Diaries when I was 11. I was considering trying drugs. I am PROUD to say I have never smoked, injected drugs into my veins, cut myself. I give props to this album for my sober life.

@sum41Rck kay mr addicted to cigarettes/pot/cutting, again you list things that don't compare to real addictions, do heroin, meth, or cocaine, then maybe you'll understand that everything you said is just weak shit, that pales in comparison to a real addiction. Lol, addicted to pot.. give me a break. And like 40% of america smokes cigs.

Real addictions will consume your life, your friends and your family. Real addictions are something you're afraid to talk about because of relapse urges.
