These three songs appeared on Brownsville Station's 1977 self titled LP released on the "Private Stock" label of New York. The album was produced by Eddie Kramer.
Images used in this video are photos and scans (some cropped/zoomed) taken from my personal vinyl copy of this LP. I've also added a handful of pics I procured from the internet.

This video was created as a result of some prodding by my good friend 'Psychedlic Will'...
Thanks for the inspiration man!

  • @myklj999

    You're very welcome...glad you enjoyed!

  • Tremendous stuff here DRP

  • @DiBiasehere

Thanks...glad you enjoyed the video :)

  • Great album, to say the least! I remember how happy I was when I found a still-sealed copy of this back in the '80's!! I'm pretty sure this one has been out of print for a LOOOOOONG time.........

  • @jeffthrow6892

    Sad they've never re-issued it.

I also purchased a sealed copy during the mid 80's. Buying sealed is a gamble...this one had a tad of surface noise on one side. My open copy that I bought in '77 was in far better cond.

The Private Stock label was cool..everything from Hermans Hermits, and The Troggs, to Frankie Valli. The Dirty Angels released a decent Power Pop/Rock album on the label in '76 if I recall. Reminded me of John Cougar, 10 yrs prior to anyone knowing who he was :)

  • @broncobra you got your light on Broncobra? :-)

  • THANK YOU! for Lady!!! Thank you, thank you!

  • I have a pristine album of Air Mail Special, and don't know how to convert it to digital. Cuda Crawlin was one of my favs.

  • Our local radio station in Southeast PA actually gave (Lady) Put the Light on Me quite a bit of airplay. My ten-year-old self thought that flanged drum/vocal break was the coolest. I'm sure it sounds better on your post than it did through the am radio on my parents' Plymouth wagon. Thanks for the post.

  • @jeffthrow6892 I used to sit and smoke soooo much listening to this album. I think my friend jack is the reason jack is my favorite drink today. growing up in the mid 70's through the metal of the eighties was what being young was all about. ROCK ON....CSRIOT
