  • anyone else want the fourth anniversary to be a TGWTG musical?

  • Doug and the others of the site have done many things together in the past.

they've done inter-website brawls. They've done conquests of other nations. They've even been on epic fantasy quests together.

But what they did here in this review could be the most entertaining thing they've done yet.

Kudos too to Brentafloss for writing such good songs, and to Doug for giving such a great performance in this final song.

I tell you. This is the Nostalgia Critic's magnum opus.

    It can't get better.

  • 'Oh jesus shut up you! I've got some bitching to doooooo...'

    'So what else is new?'

Loving this song, their voices are fantastic!

  • Doug shoots Floss, Floss shoots Doug. If they keep killing each other, Nostalgia Chick will be left and that's bad.

  • Am I the only one who got goosebumps when he said "I've got some bitching to do"?

  • Is that really his voice? I don't believe it.

  • I love the song and all, but I can't help think the Nostalgia Chick could have had better lyrics. Even if it's a joke, who wants some faux product placement to ruin what is otherwise a clear example of epicness?

  • @1994moviebuff I am sorry, but they also took influence from other songs outside of the movie, the only songs they mimic from the movie is El Tango De Roxanne and The Show Must Go On. That they didn't make their own tunes is true that's as far as that goes though.

  • @HighPriestFuneral im not saying they're not GOOD parodys, im just tired of everyone asking "what is this song from?" or "ive heard this before". i never saw the movie, and even I got it. they even show unnecessary snippets of songs in the movie for you to tell!

  • @1994moviebuff The songs at least have original words and word play. Exactly what songs in the movie is Brent's Rap mimicking? Is Guilty Pleasures even in the rhyme of a song from the movie?

So even if some of the tunes are borrowed it's done in a completely different fashion than what is presented in the movie that just kept the same words ad nauseam.

  • @Dragonlover132 They just released the commentary where they say Doug's mom is a former opera singer and now teacher.
