Although they were not as technically gifted as either Klimova & Ponomarenko or Grishuk & Platov, they did have stunning expression and musicality. This particular program really highlights their artistic strengths well.

What I particularly liked about this ice-dancing pair was that they brought something different to the table/ice. They spend a lot of time apart, but that means that BOTH of them have to be extremely gifted skaters, so one isn't carrying the performance and 'making up' for the other like a lot of the more recent ice-dance couples. They were always wonderfully unique. This is one of the pairs that I really miss. ^_^

Thanks, I should have known that, but I get in a hurry sometimes and just talk off the top of my head!! It's once of those programs where you say "I wish I had thought of that!" so many basic skating moves, so exquisitly done!! I watch it over and over.......best wishes
