Each year, the BACK TO THE WILD center has an open house to share their work with the public. Injured animals that will be released are not viewable by the public. Since the center is located in a large woodlot, a red-tail hawk was released during the open house to show the public what can be done for injured wildlife.
This female hawk flew into the dead branches of a tree to get her bearings before she later flew off to a life back in the wild.
