Tomato Grub?

Found this 3" long grub in the dirt of my Tomato plant (the plant had been ravaged by tomato hornworms). I doubt it has anything to do with the hornworms since it doesn't even have mouth parts with which to feed on anything, but I am at a loss as to what this thing is (It looks like a pokemon XD).


Any suggestions? And no, I didn't kill it, I threw it into a dirt pile in another part of the yard.
