EDGAR WRIGHT ON AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON Part two. "BEWARE THE MOOON - REMEMBERING AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON was shot by asmall independent, self-funded crew of three first time filmmakers, lead by (and including) writer/director Paul Davis between March and November 2007.

The above interview was shot for the proposed 45min UK television version of the documentary in June 2008 at The Prince Charles Cinema. In September 08, for the forthcoming Blu-Ray and 2-disc special edition release of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, Universal Studios Home Entertainment acquired the rights to the 98min feature version (playing at Frightfest) which contains exclusively interviews with the original cast and crew only. Now, for the first time ever, the lost interview with Edgar Wright sees the light of day."

  • I'm not sure, and you know what, I don't think it needs re-made.

  • There are certain films you do not remake, anything by hitchcok, anything by scorsese, anything by welles and this movie, you do not remake this movie because you cannot make that metamorphisis scene with CGI it always looks rubbish

  • I heard that there will be a re-make. I won't C it because I've given up on horror films. But, when I did watch them, this was among my top two scariest movies ever. I also noticed that it dealt with other issues under the radar like witchcraft and racism (the lead character was Jewish: hence, the double nightmare scene). The witchcraft part was referenced when they saw the five pointed star (pentagram) on the wall. I can't watch the film anymore, but, I can say that it scared me.

  • ‎"Jenny Agutter, obviously because of her role in the film... loomed large in the masturbatory fantasies of many a teenage boy" - Edgar Wright

  • sexier than barbara windsor in carry on nurse?!?! i think not young sir

  • The only way a remake could possibly stand on its own would be to be less a remake and more a "spiritual sequel" like Shaun of the Dead: ordinary, relatable, funny people confronted with something horrific and supernatural and trying to deal with it rationally. In others words don't rip off a classic, do your own fucking movie in the same vein.

  • exactly

  • Only people that aren't horror fans would say something like that.

  • This is my all-time favourite films. By the way, is it true that there may be a remake of this film?
