Will commission the stilts if you're serious. PM WizardGir.

These are based off of Kim Graham's costum leg extensions, compleetly built from scratch. What you see cheaply cost me 7 days to make.

The tail has run me about $15 and 3 days for what you see, though I am once again re-thinking the design.

  • I'm an engineer (of sorts) and the fault I've seen with yours is the cable is attached to your heel. I agree with Wetta legs, where the cable is attached to the bottom of the foot. With the cable at the bottom of the foot it gives more of a spring while walking and running. From what I have seen in both designs, there is a weight issue. If you make them out of aluminum, instead of steal, it would cut the weight in half, if not more. This is how I'm going to make mine. But overall nicely done.

  • I'm so gonna ask to someone to get me these for christmas, how much are they to commission with fur? I like the design of these and i was looking for a cat looking one your design seems thin enough and i bet i could walk around in thoses all day.

  • I would have made them a bit taller, but then again i have no idea how well it would balance then. I enjoy your builds!

  • well have you furd it yeat

  • I would totally buy these.

  • how much for the stilts

  • Hm, I know I can't make the legs but that tail...challenge accepted! XD I love PVC and I've worked with it before and I have a lot of random PVC laying around, might as well make a prototype, right?

  • I am so impressed. It's a rare thing to see someone into costumes that is also so adept (and willing to put in the time) at the engineering behind complex costuming hurdles. As a cosplayer who spends weeks and months on my own I know how something that seems to simple, turns out to be very complex, time consuming and frustrating.

My hat is off to you! Nicely done and I hope you continue to wow the internet with your amazing designs!

  • can we have a tutorial for the tail☺
