I don't mean to be rude about your father, but he does seem to be staring off into space occasionally. I know he's probably lost in thought looking at the board, but aren't they supposed to write the letters down?

@kadindarklord Well, you can see he did write them down and occasionally look at them. Some people don't always do their thinking staring at what they've written. I know I do that sometimes - look up for a moment to try and piece together what I've just looked at. However, between me & him, I am hopeless at word games and crosswords whereas he excels at them.

@kadindarklord And I know you didn't mean any offence and I'm not posting this bit to assume you are, but if he looks a bit spaced out at times, that's the result of being just over 70 and having had 3 strokes in his life.

It's a Channel 4 show, but they should sell it abroad to as many countries as possible.
