Very Smart Cambodian Girl

Cambodian children selling at Angkor Wat speak good English, some Spanish and some German too. Did not get German speaking children on the video. They learn on the street from tourist not in school. Imagine we spend billions on public education in the USA and mostly produce retards. Would it make sense to de-fund public schools and go back to what we did in the past? Little or no money for education vs billions of dollars. Just a thought.

yes most of the kids there are very smart, but its just too bad that they dont have a chance or opportunity for proper learning...

Funny thing is many of these are better educated than American children. All that money in US education and we have PC and BS and people who love video games, sports and God know what.

The the speed of development in Cambodia, in the next 10 old years 80% Khmer kids will speak 50 to 80 percent of English, at the moment Cambodia is already ahead of most South East Asian except the Malaysia and Singapore. Game and toy did make our Western kids moves backward, we sit on the wealth but we know nothing about what is life.

I'd like to see an American carry out this interview, asking her about capital cities of various countries throughout the world (aside from the only two most Americans "sort of" know about (Canada, and Mexico). She'd nail the test I'm sure, but I doubt the interviewer would fare as well...
