@gomagicalmina It does matter. And it's not copying, it's an adaptation. Saying it's not an original story is more accurate. They still put in a lot of effort and creativity to retell and design it. The new characters they came up with based on the original ones are very much their own and their characterization of Tarzan and Jane is a very different take. To say they copied it implies they didn't add any creative input and lugs it in the same heap as Dingo, which is total injustice.

Fake tarzan looks like some cheap animated short on the internet.

DISNEY!!! AMAZING! Flawless animation and Beautiful music. NO COMPARIZON! END OF CONVERSATION!
Even if Dingo copied disney, it doesn't matter. Disney copied it in the first place.
In fact, the only disney animation I can think of off hand that isn't copied are the mickey mouse ones and even then I'm not entirely sure. Just try and find one that wasn't copied.

@gomagicalmina This video is, however, not a statement about the story but about the animation quality "Disney vs. Dingo".

@Katzeklo I do realize that. I'm just pointing out the fact that it doesn't matter that Dingo isn't as good as Disney. Disney isn't as good as the original either.

@gomagicalmina Okay, but what would you consider the original? The book by Burroughs? I wouldn't compare the book to the movie, as the movie is clearly just loosely based on the original story and intended for a different target group.
