If you watch "Paris is Burning", One of the originators (Willie Ninja) refers to this video as aposed to Madonnas. That documentary was done in the mid to late 80's.

I myself am a Madonna fan and I must admit that this song has traces of Madonnas Vogue song from the early 1990s. But who cares. everyone is inspired from someone else one way or another.

This came out originally in the late 60's so turf wars wouldnt kill people , so they danced it off, and still do. find your category , it can all be very interesting. I met willi back on sobe in 1993, he carried amazing eearrings
