James Nathanial Toney (born August 24, 1968) is an American professional boxer and mixed martial artist. He holds championship titles in multiple weight classes and is the current IBA heavyweight champion

Randy Duane Couture (pronounced /koʊˈtʊər/; born June 22, 1963) is an American mixed martial artist, Greco-Roman wrestler, actor, a three-time former heavyweight champion and a two-time light-heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Couture is one of only two UFC fighters to have held a championship title in two different divisions (heavyweight and light heavyweight; B.J. Penn, with his titles at welterweight and lightweight, is the other) in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as well as the only five-time champion in UFC history. Couture has competed in 15 title fights, a record. Couture is a member of the UFC Hall of Fame and many consider him to be the most popular fighter in MMA history.
Couture was an Olympic wrestling alternate and has lived in Corvallis, Oregon, throughout much of his career, where he served as an assistant wrestling coach and a strength and conditioning coach for Oregon State University. He established Team Quest with Matt Lindland and Dan Henderson, a training camp for fighters, based out of Gresham, Oregon, and headed by coach Robert Folis. In 2005, Couture moved to Las Vegas, where he opened his own extensive chain of gyms under the name Xtreme Couture. He currently trains at his Las Vegas-based gym. Couture also partnered with Bas Rutten in the opening of Legends Gym in Hollywood, California.
Couture is generally recognized as a clinch and ground-and-pound fighter who uses his wrestling ability to execute take downs, establish top position and successively strike the opponent on the bottom. Couture has also displayed a variety of skills in Boxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; submitting three opponents using different chokeholds. Couture is the only athlete in UFC history to win a championship after becoming a Hall of Fame member and is the oldest title holder ever (in the UFC and MMA). Along with Chuck Liddell, Couture is widely credited for bringing mixed martial arts into the mainstream of American sports and pop culture.

  • I can't believe James didn't pull off a flying Gogoplata like I thought he would. There goes my house.

  • @Protagonist16 Toney wanted to fight an MMA guy under MMA rules because like he said they won't come to Boxing and fight him so he went to MMA and lost badly thats on him Randy never went to boxing and said that he wanted to fight a boxer under boxing rules.Toney was aware of the rules of combat in MMA but he came unprepared again it is all on Toney for taking that fight it must have not been that unfair if he agreed to it.

  • @springbox1982 Easy route? You're an idiot, thats his background..he uses what he knows best. You can get Pat Barry or another striker in there, and then they'd get leg kicked and kneed in the clinch (since Boxers dont know what to do there) till the fight stops. There are many ways to win the fight, Boxers have one. Someone taking down a boxer isn't the "easy way out". Know how combat sports work before speaking garbage.

  • 9 times out of 10, street fighters and boxers talk shit about martial arts. At that point, a street fighter or boxer must come into our house and fight under the rules you(as a street fighter or boxer) say is shit. Some people need some humility and mutual respect as fighters.

  • i think it denpends on the fighter if a boxer is fast on there feet and there reation are still fresh then they hav a good chance. but the fact is that u put a ufc fighter in there with an elite boxer in boxing they get schooled and vis versa. the only shot for both of winning in each others sport is to spend years working though the ranks. toneys not even an elite boxer at this stage of his carrer. although if u talk to him hes the best fighter in any sport. toney for kararte world champ?

  • Randy Couture vs Jame Tony in the Boxing Ring Randy gets Knocked out!!!

  • A 46 year old Randy beats a 26 year old Toney everytime. NO PROBLEM

  • @springbox1982 toney got his fucking ass kicked the fight was a joke easy root ? fights a fihgt and couture destroyed him

  • this vid is non sense, couture took the easy root full stop. Fighting in a cage is totally different from a ring.

  • @ColmtheTerrible I lost my house though...

  • @jagdjohn96 I lost my car betting Toney would've finished with an Anthony Pettis style flying head kick.

  • he's got a good bruce buffer impersonation
