10 000 half-naked men running down the streets of Nagoya for the Hadaka Matsuri - an annual Japanese traditional celebration.

Each team (from different locations) carries a giant bamboo stick up to a temple. When they get there, they splash the crowd with huge buckets of water to emphasize their arrival.

When everyone is there, another half-naked man walks into the crowd and every single man tries to grab/touch him.

This man is some sort of wise dude who hasn't eaten in 2 weeks.

It is believed that if one touches him, he automatically gets rid of all his sins and negative energy. That's why so many people participate I guess!! You can basically live the good life all year long, and then get absolution on Hadaka Masturi... if you can touch the bold guy!

Even if it's freezing cold, the men only wear the piece of clothe to cover their front area. They're usually all very very drunk and happy!

Something to experience once in your lifetime, I tell ya!
