TES: Skyrim Iron Helm WIP I

Just a quick sloppy video of my first prop - iron helm or helmet from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim :). Sadly... I will most likely not be able to finish it this year because I don't have access to any workshop and it's too cold to work outside. That's why I will try to take care of other stuff such as Iron Man costume.

What exactly is it made out of? How would someone go about making one for themselves?

It's made out of paper (3d model printed as peparcraft) which was reinforced with resin and fiberglass. To make it smooth I used car putty also known as bondo :). Check out my yt channel, you will find a link to my DevinantArt gallery with all the pictures from the process . If you're interested in props and armor costumes you should look for 405th or therpg :).
