The fall of Babylon the great my have been seen by many as a symbolic occurrence, when the modern 'tower of Babel' fell in the city of New York on Sept, 2001. Again, unfortunately for those who are not familiar with the bible, this system of human government will come to an end soon, and that was a sure sign and warning that no man made system of rule can last forever. God is in control, and he will relent to punish those who acknowledge him sincerely, but those who ignore his universal authority and continue to put, again, this system we all live in before God, will feel the wrath of God in the days to come. Yahweh is the same God who has been punishing the Jews and Israel, and the same one who is jealous enough to rebuke and/or punish those he loves, to correct them. God is the same now, then, and will continue to be into the future. He gives power to those he chooses, and his plans and purposes are met on HIS term and in HIS time (His covenant).

If we take it as fact that any leading nation in the world carries the concept and 'torch' of mystery babylon, we should understand that babylon is described in Jeremiah 51 as being a 'golden cup in Yahweh's hand'. No other nation on earth could fulfill these criteria other than the U.S. today, even though this will not be the leading nation just before Yahshua's coming, but the new Europe (the new Babylon) will be. The bible tells us that 10 kings are now conspiring against today's babylon, yet the new babylon will be far more advanced, and even things such as we saw in the 'manhattan project', and didn't understand, came to pass to end WW2, this new project (at the Cern particle accelerator complex near Geneva) will bring in a technonogy that perhaps was there during the days after the flood, and the 'tower of babel' in eastern europe. The new parliament in Strasburg is based on the known design of the old 'tower of babel', and todays Fermilab scientists are fully aware that their hidden knowledge of physics will 'provoke G-d' to judgement. I believe Ron Wyatt died on a trip to visit the old tower which is in Turkey- we read in Gen 11 about the son's of men "they are not going to be withheld from doing whatever they plan to do"; this was all from Nimrod (see Gen 10:8-10), and 'mystery babel' didn't come to fruition again until the hight of the Egyptian Empire, and Yahweh also judged that!
