Oh my god! A young Mama Jenny at the side of the throne! If you guys know, Mama Jenny has been assisting Rinpoche during the earlier days when Rinpoche first came to Malaysia. Just look at the date, it is 1998. That was more than 10 years ago.

Buddhism has really powerful ways to bring happiness for all of us. Eight Verses of Though Transformation is excellent method of Lord Buddha as codified by Geshe Langri Thangpa to train our mind towards achieving happiness.

My, my, my, my, every Buddhist teaching I know contradicts the ego. I wonder how can anybody say it it is a praise to the ego. People will say anything huh. Eight verses to me is a fantastic teaching to train us to be introspective, egoless and more altruistic.

Non-duality is not so simple as goodness and evil. It is about the limits we set on our perception that define what is good and what is evil. Sometimes things that appear good can be illusory like a sweet-sounding friend who harbors evil intent. While things that appear bad like a blunt and direct wife may appear harsh but actually is good because she is like so out of concern and care. So do take to understand as this is very powerful even to uphold your own belief in God.

hiram7474:Being spiritual is about the mind and not the flesh so we can be spiritual within our human flesh. I believe you are looking at a very biased viewpoint. In fact, i think is much more difficult to humble ourselves to our own actions than to a so called external creator god. So if we humble ourselves to actions and thinking that benefit others as taught in the teachings on compassion by Lord Buddha, how can it be ego?
